Produce Market

In 1988 we decided to venture into the retail produce business. We currently grow 15 acres of fresh market vegetables. Any products that aren’t grown by us are sourced locally from other Maryland farms. The small roadside stand was added on to four times before we decided to construct a new building for the market in 2009. In addition to fresh produce, other items sold include snow cones, homemade pies and baked goods, locally produced cheese and ice cream.

Produce — Produce available at the farm includes blueberries, cantaloupe, corn, cucumbers, green beans, onions, peaches, peppers, tomatoes, watermelon, yellow squash, zucchini and more.

Mason's Heritage Produce MarketLapp Family Bakery — Our pies and baked goods come from Lapp Family Bakery, located in Worton, MD. All of the items we carry are baked fresh Thursday night and available at the market Friday-Sunday. Products available include fruit, cream, and other specialty pies, breads, and old-fashioned whoopie pies.

Eve’s Cheese — Eve’s Cheese (named after the family’s award-winning jersey cow) is made with grade-A milk from a Kent County dairy. The milk is transported to an Amish cheese maker who handcrafts the milk into Eve's Cheese.

Kilby Cream — Kilby Cream has been producing fresh, homemade ice cream in Rising Sun, MD since 2005. They make their own mix and ice cream using milk from their Cecil County dairy.

We’re currently open from mid-June through mid-September.
